Becoming Chair
On July 7th 2024 I will take over as Chairperson of the British Film Designers Guild.
This is a great honour, but also challenging to be taking the helm at a time when the Film & TV Industry is in an unprecedented downturn.
At one point, a BECTU survey showed 60% of the work force out of a job, which is staggering.
Its been a very worrying time for so many people, but I can only hope that things will soon start to change, and the Industry will be back on its feet with a thriving community of crew and suppliers.
Fingers crossed for better days to come…..
