Biography
Jonathan Paul Green is a multi-award-winning, UK-based Production Designer with over 33 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Renowned for his versatility across various Film and TV genres, Jonathan has built a reputation as an innovative, collaborative, and dependable professional.
His journey into the industry began after studying Fine Art Sculpture at St. Martins School of Art from 1984 to 1987. His first role was creating puppets for Spitting Image, which led to various prop and model-making opportunities, including work at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and on the temple set of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade under Derek Howarth.
Transitioning to television as an Art Director, Jonathan soon embarked on his Production Design career. At just 26, he designed the set for Rory Bremner - Who Else? for Channel 4. He also worked on numerous pop promos, including designing a ‘frozen’ set for a Madonna performance for Fuji TV.

His work earned him Best Production Design in a Light Entertainment TV Show at the British Film Designers Guild Awards and a prestigious Art Directors Guild Awards nomination in the United States.
In 2018, Jonathan traveled to Fiji to design the TBS comedy Wrecked starring Rhys Darby. He has also maintained a long-standing collaboration with director Jim Field Smith, designing The Wrong Mans, Stag, and Criminal: UK for Netflix.
